Hello Everyone!
I am delighted to announce that Boes Therapy Services is open in our new location in Littleton, CO. Boes Therapy Services offers quality, systemic, affirmative therapy services to individuals, relationships, and families and specializes in adolescents, couples, and LGBTQ populations.
So what sets Boes Therapy Services apart from other providers?
While I was working in a therapy agency I often found my values as a therapist were not shared in the business model used by the agency. Unfortunately, many therapists experience this when balancing insurance reimbursement, state funding requirements, and larger company policies.
By opening my own business I made sure to keep my values as a therapist at the forefront of my business model. Transparency, connection, and hope guide my business practices in every way, and my goal is for my clients to feel these values in every interaction with Boes Therapy Services. I see myself not only as a therapist but as an advocate for my clients regardless of their income, race, religion, gender expression, sexual orientation, country of origin, or experience in the criminal justice system.
How does the process work?
After you make initial contact with me I will ask if you are interested in scheduling a 20 minute free consultation or if you want to get started and schedule a full session. If you decide to schedule a session I will ask for your email and send you my New Client Information forms which I ask you to fill out prior to session (don't worry if you don't have a printer - I can print them out for you prior to session).
The first session usually includes a brief description of the experiences that led you to contact me, a discussion about your family, and hopefully the identification of what it is you would like to be different. By the second or third session I will create a list of 2-3 goals for our work and we make edits to the goals so they are exactly what YOU want.
