Owner, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Please note: I am not able to take new clients at this time. I suggest you try Psychology Today's Find A Therapist. You can use this tool to find the right therapist for you (filter by insurance, gender, type of therapy, etc.)
Therapy for LGBTQ+ Experiences
Whether you want to explore your gender identity, sexual orientation, or something unrelated to either, it helps to know your therapist is affirmative and well-versed in LGBTQ+ experiences across the lifespan. I work with many people who want to explore their sense of gender, sexual orientation, or relationship styles.

Many of my clients want to explore their sense of gender, sexual orientation, or relationship styles. This can look like figuring out who you are without the influence of heteronormative expectations, learning what you want and need from your relationships, or coming out to loved ones in a healthy way. All this work can be done individually or in Relational Therapy.
Maybe you have one or more LGBTQ+ identities but that's not what you're wanting to discuss in therapy - there are other parts of your identity and experience, after all!
Sometimes just knowing your therapist is affirmative and is educated in LGBTQ+ identities, relationships, and families is all you need.
My standard fee is $150 per 60-minute session. Longer sessions are pro-rated and available upon request. I do offer reduced fees for a limited number of clients, which are usually full, but it doesn't hurt to ask! I also accept Medicaid.
