Therapy For Women
From an early age, women are taught to take care of others, feel unrealistic expectations for their bodies, careers, and family, and are targets of unwanted sexualization, leading to shame, fear, and anxiety. Therapy can help you connect with your Sure Self, manage anxiety, set boundaries with unrealistic expectations, and feel safer in your body.

Some of the most transformative work I have witnessed is from women who are in therapy to reconnect with their Sure Selves. All too often women feel separated from their sense of inner strength, confidence, and stillness by the chaos of the world around them. This frequently leads to striving for perfectionism, poor boundaries, and burnout.

I frequently work with women experiencing anxiety and depression, women who feel they are not good enough as professionals, parents, partners, or friends, and who give all their energy to their loved ones but have none left for themselves. These experiences are not uncommon but can make us feel isolated and disconnected.

An unfortunate reality of being a woman is being targeted with unwanted sexualization, which can take many forms. This often daily reality often leads to anxiety, fear, and Post-Traumatic Stress, often called PTSD.
